Together we will explore and master the latest developments in immersive media and social-collaborative Extended Reality (XR). We invite you to help us disseminate this unique opportunity within your network.
Who is this for?
The school is an interdisciplinary deep dive into the technologies that power Social XR. It is primarily intended for PhD students interested in understanding the core mechanics underlying immersive experiences. We will cover crucial topics such as User-Centric Delivery Systems and Human Perception as well as volumetric content recording, rendering, and coding.
We strongly encourage applications from PhD students across diverse disciplines who are looking for a powerful blend of theoretical, empirical, and practical insights. Accepted participants will be awarded 5 ECTS credits for their attendance. We are also working on opportunities for travel grants.
Applications from master students and post-docs are also welcome, as well as professionals and researchers (upon availability). English is the language of instruction.
