Use cases & newest technologies
Although data and technology are heterogeneous in the spectrum of the life sciences, comparable ICT- services (such as data, compute, network) are used. Various use cases are discussed in an interactive setting, and you will learn more about the latest ICT-technologies. For example: large-scale genome analyses for plant and human research, and machine learning for image classification and segmentation.

The SURF Life Science Seminar focuses on researchers and research supporters in the life sciences. In addition, the event can be of interest to IT managers who are considering organising research services centrally.
