09.00 Walk in and morning coffee and teas.

10.00 Welcome and Opening by VU Amsterdam host on behalf of IBIS : Peter van Hoorn (Chair)

10.15 Keynote address - speaker from Industry . (Invited speaker from Deloitte consulting) 20 min presentation followed by discussion and Q&ATopic: 21st century skills and societal value creation in a dynamic labor market

11.00 Modules and Applications from IBIS presented IBIS project members.

Topic: courseware developed within IBIS, including implementation, on-line platform, connectivity within programs, T&L outcomes, Learning Analytics, experiential cases and evaluation.

12.30 Lunch break and networking.

13.30 Keynote address by Dr. Raffaele Trapasso, economist at OECD in Paris (confirmed) – Directorate for Public Governance and Territorial Development. His research focus includes: Urban/regional economics, SME networks and industrial clusters in Renewable Energy. This presentation will include a preview of some of the findings of the HEInnovate final report on the Netherlands focused on knowledge exchange and entrepreneurship in Higher Education. (Final report due out by Sept 10, 2018) 20 min presentation followed by discussion and Q&A. 

Topic: The role of entrepreneurship in higher education institutes in the context of the EU labor market and the need for HEI curriculum diversification.

16.00 HEI reflection on IBIS objectives by Prof. Mirjam van Praag, President at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
