EUNIS is de Europese samenwerking tussen Universiteiten wat betreft IT zaken.
Zij gaan voor de 2de keer een award uitreiken voor de Best Overall AV-enabled Education Space
Vorig jaar waren er 2 Nederlandse inzendingen die de Award ontvingen; zij mochten presenteren op het EUNIS congres (in juni) en een zelfs op het AVIXA wereldwijde congres en op het Internationale Innovative Learning Spaces congres (nov).
EUNIS AV Award brings sunshine
Dit jaar gaat de winnaar zelfs 'in person' presenteren "at InfoComm in Orlando, Florida (23-29 October). The cost of travel to Florida and conference registration is included in the prize. It may also be possible to support attendance at InfoComm by individual category winners"
We hebben in onze community aandacht besteed aan de Nederlandse winnaars:
Het AMC (UvA) won met hun Multi Functional Lecture Hall de EUNIS award
De KU Leuven won met hun Hybrid Virtual Classroom naast de EUNIS Award ook de AVIXA global award.
We weten dat er inmiddels in Nederland nog meer innovatieve varianten van onderwijsruimtes zijn ingericht zoals de Hybrid Virtual Classrooms.

The EUNIS Award for Best Overall AV-enabled Education Space recognizes innovative use of audiovisual technology that results in positive results in registered higher education learning facilities, whether in classrooms for students and/or instructors or campus-wide.
It celebrates great design where AV is an integral component of enabling education to take place in a given space or campus. Both new build and re-fit are eligible, if the AV is included in the complete ideation of the space. Spaces must take into consideration the intended use or uses of the space.
The Eunis Award 2021 is open to all organizations or individuals that work to create outcomes and solutions using audiovisual technologies in higher education facilities worldwide.
