Kan je onderwijs van morgen nog wel geven op de campus van vandaag (of misschien zelfs van gisteren)? Ondanks dat het onderwijs zich de afgelopen eeuw flink heeft ontwikkeld en de wereld om ons heen ontzettend snel verandert, is de campus op veel plekken niet zoveel veranderd. Vanuit diverse perspectieven, zoals technologisch en maatschappelijk, gaat SURF daarom met het nieuwe project Future Campus op zoek naar antwoorden op de vraag: 'Hoe ziet de campus eruit in 2040?’.
De XR Tour komt over twee weken naar Drachten!

Welke ontwikkelingen zijn er binnen VR en XR in het onderwijs, en wat zijn de aandachtspunten tijdens het ontwikkelen van een VR of XR applicatie? Deze vragen stonden centraal bij de SURF XR-tour die werd georganiseerd in LAB21 bij Hogeschool Windesheim. In dit verslag wordt de opzet beschreven voor een stappenplan voor de ontwikkeling en implementatie van een VR/XR applicatie in het onderwijs.

SURF heeft LAB21 benaderd om 16 januari op Windesheim (Campus Zwolle) een bijeenkomst van de SURF XR-tour te organiseren over het gebruik van Augmented - en Virtual Reality in het Onderwijs (en Zorg). Behalve dat SURF daar zal aangeven wat zij voor Windesheim te bieden heeft op gebied van Virtual Reality en Augmented Reality, wil LAB21 vooral ook laten zien wat er op dit gebied al gebeurt op Windesheim.
Het wordt een dag met uiteenlopende presentaties en demo’s.

The XR Tour made connections with the Stichting Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht! Joris Weijdom welcomed our Tour to the Blackbox at the HKU Design | Games en Interactie | Muziek en Technologie building. The XR Tour Team became both participants and creators in the VR simulations made by students.
