Als je aan de slag gaat met online of blended onderwijs, dan start je natuurlijk vanuit leerdoelen, leerinhouden en een didactische aanpak. Maar op een gegeven moment zal je ook tools, leertechnologieën, op een verantwoorde manier moeten gaan selecteren. Je kijkt daarbij als het goed is met een didactische bril naar tools.
Je wordt dan geconfronteerd met een enorme hoeveelheid aan beschikbare tools.

Dankzij de inzet van docenten, onderwijsondersteuners, IT-afdelingen en vele anderen wordt het onderwijs in Nederland van het ene op het andere moment volledig online aangeboden. Dat is een onvoorstelbare prestatie. Om online onderwijs te geven zijn digitale tools nodig. Hoe vind je een weg in het grote aanbod van tools?

The University of the Netherlands started Quarantine Lectures
At the moment, many lectures, professors, and university staff are working on recording videos, moving their courses online, and designing online assignments. Marc van Oostendorp, professor at the Radboud University, has made an appeal to his colleagues: make these recorded lectures available to the public.
The University of the Netherlands, with support from the Association of Universities in The Netherlands (VSNU), has developed a website realise this initiative. On www.quarantainecolleges.nl, lecturers can upload their recorded lectures. After uploading, the University of the Netherlands checks these lectures for quality and copyright. After the check, the videos are published on the Quarantine Colleges-YouTube channel.

By using available digital educational resources made by colleagues, you as a lecturer, can quickly start digitising your course. Digital educational resources come in all shapes and sizes, such as digital (practice) tests, virtual reality simulations, or knowledge clips students view prior to the lecture. By using an open license, you give others permission to use or adapt the material with certain conditions. This way colleagues can benefit from each other's work.
